Two Versions of the Write Idea Curriculum
Write Idea Take Flight Add-On Curriculum
Currently, the Take Flight-aligned Write Idea add-on module is available exclusively to students enrolled in Take Flight/Bridges. This 15-minute extension seamlessly integrates with each Take Flight lesson to provide explicit, systematic instruction in handwriting, spelling, and written expression.

Part 2—(Anticipated Summer 2027)—Aligned with Take Flight Year 2Write Idea Stand-Alone Curriculum—(Anticipated Summer 2027)
The Write Idea Stand-Alone Curriculum for students with dysgraphia is anticipated to be available in Summer 2027. This one-year intervention is designed to be delivered in 30-minute daily lessons.
About Write Idea
Write Idea: A Dysgraphia and Written Expression Intervention is a specialized curriculum developed by the Scottish Rite for Children to support students with dysgraphia and written expression challenges. Write Idea provides targeted, structured instruction to help students with:
Cursive letter formation (uppercase and lowercase)
Connecting cursive letters to write words, phrases, and sentences
Numbers formation
Supplemental spelling instruction aligned with the Take Flight lesson
Written Expression—parts of speech, constructing sentences, and composition skills
